My Story
I started as a developer and grew into leading teams step by step. Each new role gave me a better view of how the team worked, and eventually of the whole business around it.
Writing code without knowing why was never my thing. I needed to see the whole picture. It let me run projects and hand them over in a way that made sense for the business.
So I gradually moved from writing features into developer experience, then architecture and infrastructure. I hunted for bottlenecks and put the team's time and money where the company needed IT most.
And now there's AI, the biggest change our field has seen in the 15 years I've been in it. It's changing how software gets built: development is getting faster, and roles that used to sit far apart suddenly overlap. Engineers are moving closer to the product, and product people closer to the tech. There are many ways to go right now, and I help pick the one that pays off most.
